The Island's private caravan parks at the main town of Kingscote and at the entrance to Flinders Chase National Park, provide the highest level of services to guests including cooking facilities, regularly serviced bathrooms and an on-site manager. National Parks offer guests a range of camping options from designated bush camping through to sites with cooking and bathroom facilities. Booking for both private and National Parks are necessary. Kangaroo Island Council manage the remaining campsites outside of National Parks and each site includes basic facilities.
