What to expect
Your instructors will start with the essentials—how to move safely on rope, how to control your descent, how the harness and belay system work. Once confident with the fundamentals, you'll be clipped in and moving down the gorge's sandstone faces. The Morialta landscape unfolds as you descend, with the conservation park's eucalypts and water features below. Expect some physical effort and mental focus, though fitness levels vary—the instructors adapt to your pace. Sessions are small enough that you get proper attention.
