What to expect
You'll start on flat riverbank trails where the evening air brings out bird calls and koalas become visible in the trees above. Your guide will point out edible plants and explain the local ecosystem as you pedal. The electric motors make climbing gentle inclines effortless. In the final stretch, you'll traverse the open sand dunes of Little Sahara, feeling the bike respond differently on soft ground. Bring a camera—the low light casts everything in warm tones and shadows deepen the dune contours. The tour suits anyone comfortable on a bike with moderate fitness; the electric assistance handles most of the hard work.
