What to expect
This is a serious hike for fit bushwalkers. Expect steep climbs, uneven terrain, and scrambling sections where you'll use your hands. The pace is moderate but sustained; there's no coasting. You'll work through the morning, break at the waterfall to recover and hydrate, then push toward the finish. Weather exposure is real—bring sun protection and water. Wildlife sightings aren't guaranteed but likely, especially whales in winter months. The whole experience spans ten hours including transport.
Good to know
You must be trail-fit; unsuitable for heart conditions, unresolved joint injuries, pregnancy, or poor cardiovascular health. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring a refillable water bottle, small daypack, hat, sunscreen and long sleeves. Water and snacks provided. Book private group hikes on request.
