What to expect
Your guide meets you at the park and kits you out with climbing harnesses, shoes and helmet. After a safety briefing and technique rundown, you'll approach the first rock face. Climbs are staggered by difficulty—expect to spend time on routes matching your experience. Rest between ascents. In the final hour, you'll practise abseiling, controlling your descent via rope down the cliff face. The session moves at a steady pace with plenty of instruction; this isn't a race. Bring water and snacks for energy breaks.
