What to expect
You'll be collected by Mercedes in Port Lincoln and driven to the departure point. The Sealegs vehicle crosses onto the island—a hybrid craft that transitions from sea to land without passengers disembarking. Once ashore, your guide drives you around in an open buggy, stopping at viewpoints to take in the landscape. The buggy ride is leisurely, not strenuous. Back at the main lodge, a welcome drink awaits. The chef then serves lunch across six courses at a single table or grouped seating overlooking the ocean. Expect locally-focused ingredients and refined plating. The return journey reverses the morning route.
Good to know
Dietary requirements must be flagged at booking. Prams and strollers are welcome for infants; specialised seats are available. All fitness levels are catered for—the buggy ride is observational, not physically demanding. Bring a light layer; island winds can pick up even on mild days.
