About this tour

Jump tandem from 10,000 feet above Lake Alexandrina with South Australia's longest-running skydive outfit. You're harnessed to an instructor throughout the freefall and parachute descent, taking in sweeping views of the Langhorne Creek wine region and surrounding farmland. Four hours total, including ground training, gear fitting, and the dive itself. No prior experience needed.

Highlights

  • Tandem jump over Lake Alexandrina and surrounding countryside
  • Highly experienced and well-reviewed Adelaide operation
  • Skydiving gear and safety equipment provided
  • Certificate included; photo/video add-ons available
  • Suitable for ages 16+ up to 110kg
  • Wheelchair accessible facilities

What to expect

You'll arrive, meet your instructor, and complete a brief safety briefing covering body position and what happens at altitude. Gear fitting takes 20–30 minutes. You'll board the aircraft together and climb to jump altitude, then exit into open sky with your tandem partner. Freefall lasts roughly 60 seconds before parachute deployment; the canopy descent is slower and calmer, lasting several minutes. Landing is gentle on a grass drop zone. Most of the four hours covers briefing, equipment, and the jump sequence itself.
